Great value for money. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a good location near lots of bars and restaurants. There is also a subway station easily accessible from the hotel. The wifi was very fast and reliable. The breakfast was an excellent spread and worth the extra money.
The pillows could be more comfortable and they only had one type available. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

Great location in the east, walking distance to lively east neighbourhood with plenty of cheap, good restaurants. Clean and spacious room.

The room was quiet and comfortable, the staff very friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location in Friedrichshain. It is simple, but really nice. And free, fast wifi in the bedroom! The place is quaint and quirky- has charm.
The double bed is two single beds not quite together- so not a honeymooner's getaway. But they were comfortable for German hotel beds, so no problem. The ceiling light was loose inside somewhere, so anyone walking over us made it rattle loudly- but it was a funny thing to have as the only real problem...

Convenient location near subway and tram stations, with quiet surroundings and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Small but comfortable and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff with good English. Strong WiFi and free coffee/tea. great value for money in a vibrant Eastside area.

The location is good, it's not far from an underground station and there are some nice restaurants nearby. The parking area was locked and safe, the apartment larger than we had expected, very clean, fully equipped. Breakfast was good, ample, and inexpensive. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lady at the reception, who really went out of her way to save us from getting lost on the way out of the city (the highway road signs can get so confusing ;)) We're glad that we chose to stay at Juncker's instead of defaulting to one of those large and boring chain hotels. Such warm hospitality that we experienced there is really unusual, plus it was all for a reasonable price. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay in east Berlin.
The only downside was the wireless signal - pretty weak on 3rd floor, so we had to go downstairs to use the internet, but other than that, everything was perfect.

I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the hotel and its staff
The only problem I had was that I could not get to the htoel by 10pm. The hotel were very good and explained what I had to do to get in but it was worrying that I might not manage to enter and I would have been stranded as a woman traveling alone. This is not a complaint but it would be adsvisable to put this in ver bold lettering on your confirmation email. it did not register with me (my fault of cause 1) until I arrived in Berlin

Great value for money. Friendly welcome. Good service. Clean, hospitable. In total, a lot for than you normally expect when you pay 40 euros/night (single room with bath).

We stayed at a hotel in Eastern Berlin for four nights and found it to be a great basecamp for exploring the city. The location was excellent, with easy access to transportation and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and our room was clean and quiet, facing the inner courtyard. The wifi worked well and the hotel even arranged for our smooth late-night check-in. it was a good value for money and we were pleased with our stay at Junckers.
Absolutely nothing 🙌

Clean, comfortable room with friendly staff.
One day, I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist upgraded my room to an apartment. Although it faced the street and had some noise from workers in the morning, the extra space made up for it.

Quiet hotel close to a subway and a sbahn station. Neibourghood had nothing special to offer but is not bad either. Reception open from 6 AM to 10 PM. Otherwise, you have a key to acces the hotel.
The insonorisation of my room was not very good. However, I had very quiet neibourgh so this was not an issue for me.

The Junckers Hotel was a great find in virtually all respects. It provides a convenient and comfortable base for exploring Berlin either side of the fabulously ugly Alexanderplatz Fernsehturm (tv mast). The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly (and tolerant of pidgin' German), the rooms are comfortable and clean, the ivy-clad building has a pleasant, homely feel about it and, notwithstanding its close proximity to a major local thoroughfare, the hotel is imbued with a sense of quiet peacefulness. Bus stop's on the Ost Bahnfhof route are an easy stone's throw away and the Frankfurter Tor U-Bahn station is about 15 minutes easy walking distance up Warschauerstrasse. The Friedrichshain neighbourhood has an appealing counter-culture feel about it and offers plenty in the way of music, restaurants, shops and bars. And then there are the 'Piraten', the cyclists, the trees and the looming DDR-era prefabs that add to the gritty 'realness' of the place. The grocery across the road and the fresh pot of coffee just behind the foyer are yet more attributes that contribute to making the Junckers Hotel and its environs such a worthwhile destination. We'd scarcely booked in and we already wanted to go back.

Located conveniently close to public transport, bakery across the street, and various restaurants. Tram is easily accessible which goes to train station. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable, with breakfast provided at an extra fee. Staff is friendly and helpful with a relaxed attitude, and tea and coffee are available for free all day.
The decor could use some updating.

The staff is very friendly and always available for giving advice and information about transport etc. There is a bus stop directly accross the street to reach the train station. The room is spacious and quiet and was well kept.
